the first of the year. The team now also has access to hunt a private farm in Jackson County, Illinois. This hunt
will more than likely take place next fall.

Oct. 23, 2008The 2008 whitetail season is in full swing and with the rut right around the corner, the WPS team are out looking
for whitetails. Most of out members will be hunting the 50,000+ acres of NSWC Crane, which has implimented the Earn-A-Buck
rule for both archery and firearm seasons. This is a great way to balance the doe to buck ratio and if they
keep this rule, after a few years NSWC Crane will be one of THE premiere hunting area in state, maybe the midwest.
Other team members will be hunting private woods and farmland. Team members have been seeing some GREAT bucks and their
should be some P&Y and hopefully a B&C taken this season. The team is out now trying to harvest does to help
with QDM, within the next few weeks our attention will be shifting to our rut areas where our focus will be mature bucks.
Bryan Fox will be leaving next week for Misouri where he will be whitetail hunting with IMB Outfitters. Bryan
won this hunt while hunting last yer with IMB in Illinois. Bryan is also heading up to Canada where he will be
hunting for Saskatchewan whitetails with Whitetails Grande Inc. We wish
Bryan the best and cannot wait to see the results.
