WPS Update
On November 8th, 2008, I took my nephews, ages 6 and 10, and my son, 7, hunting with me at
the Sherfick's Farm. Despite all the laughing and gas attacks in the hunting blind we had a small 6pt. buck walk
in on us at 10 yards away. You could've heard a pin drop as those boys quieted down to see the deer. The buck
hadn't a clue we were there. I called him in using a bleat call and soft grunting. The buck was interested
in finding the doe then anything else.
Tomorrow, November 11th, 2008, I will be off for Veteran's Day.
I am going to start hunting at the Harker Farm in the morning, and then in the evening heading south to try my luck at some
new ground. The pre-rut/rut is upon us gentlemen! Let's all have a great hunt and be safe!

WPS UpdateWell the weather has warmed up considerably. With a high in the upper 60's and a low in the 40's
for the rest of the week, and with the high in the lower 50's and lows in the 30's for the weekend.
Cody Bauer and Woody Hembree headed to Harker's Farm to see if we could harvest a nice buck on Sunday
(November 2nd). The weather was considerably warm, and we seen no deer movement that morning. This week, Woody
Hembree will be heading to Sherfick's farm to try and take a nice buck. Deer movement should increase with the rut
just around the bend. With the temperature dropping off this weekend, it should be nice.
WPS is starting
to send out emails to those that want to join our pro staff team. Details will be included in the email. We have
shirts and decals on sale and available to anyone that wants to support us. Everything is starting to look up for us.
I hope that everyone has a safe hunting season. Thanks!
